I was really excited about KC's progress for her 6 month check up. She's super social, moves more than AC was doing at 7 months, and even managed to start holding her own bottle a few days before the check up.
Still, the Pedi must have known to throw in some curve balls.
Does she play with toys? Yes.
Sleep through the night? She better.
Pass toys from hand to hand? Um... maybe.
Sit up? If she'd be still for a second.
Wave bye-bye? Is that really a 6 month milestone?!?
Despite not passing her oral exam, she got a thumbs up for her physical, showing off her immaculate roll and her preference for standing over sitting.
AC got a surprise check up too since we both had to get our shots. After a weekend of "vacation eating" with KK, I was glad that they just took my word on my weight and height. AC is still holding down his 50% spot on the growth charts.
In other news, AC has finally developed a sense of reciprocity. Whenever he steps on people (usually KC), he is quick to say "seu-sy" i.e "excuse me." This week, when AK, toddler-speak-name Emo, stepped over him, he looked up, rather unamused and called out "seu-sy emo." Emo just replied with the "is this kid kidding?' stare, but that didn't stop AC from requesting his rights repeatedly throughout the week.
